Enchanted Christmas

An Enchanted Christmas, a must attend event kicks off the Christmas season in fine fashion Saturday (Dec. 4) at the Angel Fire Country Club beginning at 6 p.m. Angel Fire Homes and the Eby Group has a tree being auctioned off for the Stray Hearts Animal Shelter in Taos. Enchanted Christmas will ultimately benefit many local not-for-profit organizations but on the ticket during the event is music, dancing, food and a silent Christmas tree auction.

The event will be sure to get you in the Christmas spirit with a gala of activities including a very special treat in The Damn Band, a local favorite cranking up the dancing music beginning at 7 p.m. The event is simple. Businesses sponsor a Christmas tree and decorate it to be auctioned off. The proceeds will benefit a local charity or not-for-profit organization of their choice. Trees are already set up at the Country Club so you can get a sneak peak if you wish. The trees will be sold in a silent auction the night of the event and delivered the next day to the bidding winners. Hors d’oeurves will be served from 6 to 7 p.m. and the dancing to The Damn Band begins at 7 p.m. and runs to 10 p.m. A cash bar is available to help get your dancing legs started. Those who purchased trees can take them home the night of the event or they will be delivered for free the next day. Tickets can be purchased at the Angel Fire Visitors Center or the Chronicle office prior to the event or at the door. The Ebys will be there, and we hope to see you too!
